I need this code: [login to view URL] updated to run on cuda. The code is fully functional and runs perfectly on the cpu, it uses opencv types for image handling, but the code that needs to run in parallel is std types. A paper based on this code has been published with a gpu implementation, so i know that it is well suited to cuda. There are a series of 4 functions that need updating, each runs through every pixel of the image ( as int**), so it should be fairly straightforward to get each one into cuda. Hello there! I saw your project in the last moment. I don't bid often. Just when i see something interesting and close to what i did before. I based my account on this site when it required anonymity. Consider this bid as some words from "anonymous programmer and researcher" (CG/CV researcher). I can show u my work over the chat. 1. I developed "matting" technique in 3D. I can develop matting in 2D based on any method or create my new one (weeks of work). 2. I am looking at the article u posted (describing the method. Btw. i know one of the authors). I can implement the method in C++ and CUDA/OpenCL (days of work). 3. It is fine that u posted link to ready-made sequential code. It is easier to "just" transfer the code into prrallel CUDA/OpenCL (less work than in 2.) My method od 3D "matting" is based on probabilistic calculations - it is generalization of the 2D matting problem (your problem can be reduced to it. Constraints in 2D make it easier, poorer topology makes it harder). My method is used in some VR software (can show u some pictures privately though). My priority is speed ( =>GPU computations). My feedback here on freelancer.com is from different fields, but u can get the picture of my approach to work. I am serious C/C++ programmer, with 15 years of experiences in GPGPU programming (both CUDA, OpenCL + shading languages before). And I worked with OpenCV even before it was named OpenCV ;) good luck with the project, Enam.
