I have experience with setup that you are looking for. It will be pretty fast and easy setup. The setup should be divided in 2 steps: 1. Configure the sip trunk and check if everything is working correctly. Negotiate about the media ports range, codecs, authentication etc. 2. Configure the phones, here it depends if you want to load the configuration from the server or each phone will be configured manually with the SIP extension and password. In case you want the phones to load their configuration automatically during boot it could take more time. As we will be dependent on the network configuration.

Have good experience in asterisk configurations and cisco phone integrations. Would like to know which cisco phone model is going to be used on your project; some cisco phones donot work with asterisk even if they are already on sip. assuming your cisco phones are known to be compatible with asterisk. we will need the phones to be on sip firmware (can help you convert them to sip if firmware is available). will required a dhcp and a tftp server (probably use your current asterisk if possible) to configure the cisco phones and their dialplan. would need your expectation on the cisco phones dialplan as well to ensure it is achievable. there are some limitations to cisco phones when used with asterisk; hence the final result will depend on your expectations and compatibility. creating a SIP trunk and did is deliverable.
