Having worked on many image processing projects and given the video which provided a solid idea of what's required I believe that I can complete your project in about 15 days. The main challenges in this project is optimizing the code to be suitable for real time processing and determining which features to use to identify lane markers. The main idea of my proposed project is to detect the edges at first and to extract features from those edges to determine whether a specific edge describes a lane marker or not. The features itself is yet to be determined and is to be determined after testing many features and their accuracy. Afterwards, using lane marker edges to determine the lane coordinates. I do have a couple of questions about the project though: 1) I don't know if you have a required coding language but if there wasn't, most probably, the main coding language will be python. Please inform me whether this abides with the project requirements or not. 2) I would also like to know the conditions the of recording.
