Implement an Oracle schema based on the Horse Racing database model you developed as SE2DB11 coursework or (recommended) the example ‘possible solution’ given out and discussed in the lecture 1 and available on Blackboard. This task may be seen in two parts: 1. Develop a set of related Oracle tables, using constraints as appropriate. Each table should be populated with at least 2 rows for testing. 2. Develop a subset of stored procedures that would be required by applications wishing to use your database/schema. These should be created within the Oracle account that you have been using for SE2DB11 practicals. The schema contains some ‘Alpha Stings’ - aspects that are harder to implement than others. Marks will be awarded progressively for recognising these areas; explaining the issue and evaluating possible solutions; implementing them.
