MS Access 365 I have a database Table containing the various details of English schools. I have a Query set up to export to CSV file all schools in all regions. This works OK; saving to the correct file, sorted correctly. I have saved the export steps as a 'Saved Export'. When run this also works OK. I also need to export to CSV files 20 or 30 subsets: NW region schools, SE region schools, SW region schools, etc., Primary schools, Secondary schools, Special schools, etc., etc. The 'Saved Export' files only work correctly if the original Query is altered to the specific subset criteria for each subset. The only way I can see this working is to have 20 or 30 different Queries; one for each subset. This seems to me a laborious solution to the problem. If the data Tables were in MySQL I believe I could easily construct a page of PHP insructions to whack out the 20 or 30 subset CSV files in a few seconds. I need advice as to how to do this in Access, maybe with Macros? or with SQL type instructions such as: Open file: filename="[login to view URL]"; Print to file fieldnames on first line; Select schools where region="SW" and type = "secondary" sort by "schoolname" ... and print to file; Close file; Thanks Paul Welbank (part of typical subset csv file attached) I don't need someone to code it; just explain how it can be done with Macros or SQL type instructions
