Job 1 – Daily updating all adverts and making amendments
- Update every advert that we have live on every website (max 6 websites, max 25 adverts). Average 3 websites and 15 adverts
- Room available date to be moved to the current date
- Title line of advert to be changed to one of several we provide to keep the advert fresh
- Main picture to be changed to keep the advert fresh
Once up to speed, takes 30 minutes for 15 adverts
Job 2 - Spareroom website – daily work
Contact website users (by email) within given specifications with details of our rooms (daily list to be given): Specifications to search are:
For all searches:
1. Click on “SEARCH”
2. Click on “Rooms Wanted” (left side of screen)
3. Click on “Advanced search”.
4. Click on “Rooms Wanted” again
5. Search & location preferences:
a. Area or postcode – usually “South-east London”, but may change as per instructions
6. Property preferences:
a. Length of stay – “minimum 1 month”
b. To move in - Change date to 21 days after today’s date. For example, if today’s date is the 1st December, change to 22nd December.
7. Sharing preferences:
a. Age range – 19 to 45
Then there are 2 separate searches to make:
Search criteria 1
1. All “NEW TODAY” enquiries should be emailed
2. Please target those with European names (as we are an EU employment agency). No problem if other people are emailed accidentally.
Search Criteria 2
1. Change advanced search: maximum rent - £350
2. Target all those with European names
Job 3 - Easyroommate website – daily work

Job 4 - Placing adverts on gumtree website – daily work
Adverts to be placed once or twice per day as per specifications and pictures given. Details of how to place an advert:
(1) Click ‘post an ad” (top right)
(2) Click “Or browse to find a category”
(3) Click “property”
(4) Click “to share”
(5) Click “offered”
(6) Select category as we instruct
(7) Click continue
(8) Select location as we instruct
(9) Click “yes” for “are you acting as an agent”.
(10) Post ad title as instructed
(11) Attach pictures as instructed
(12) Copy and paste advert details as instructed
(13) Type date available as instructed
(14) Rent period – always “monthly”
(15) Property type – usually “house” unless instructed
(16) Room type – as instructed
(17) Available to couples – click yes or no as instructed
(18) Check email is correct
(19) Check phone number is correct
(20) Click the orange “Post my Ad” to finish
Job 5 – CV templates
Need to place CV’s in templates as provided.
Spelling errors can be corrected
Formatting to be same as template
Job 6 – Filling out tenancy agreement contracts
You will be given a list of information and a passport/ID card. From these details, need to take the information and place in the gaps of a contract. This is simpler than it sounds. The details that need to go in the contract are:
1. Name
2. Email address
3. Mobile number
4. Property address
5. Monthly rent
6. Deposit amount
7. Key deposit amount
8. Daily rent rate
9. Second month’s rent and date due
10. Following month’s rent and date due
11. Initial payment and schedule
a. Contract date
b. Rent due now
c. Deposit due now
d. Key deposit due now
e. Administration fee due now
f. Total due now
12. Date exactly 1 month later
a. Second month’s rent amount, followed by third month’s rent amount and date
