Filemaker Pro Photo Catalog

I am working on a Filemaker Pro 7 application and I need help with a certain portion of it. It is a log application where I would like to include photos as part of every log record. The application will need to contain the photos in a separate table from the main data table. The application will need to be able to add images to the record, extract and display thumbnails in the same layout, extract file name, path, and image reolution. I have created the basic framework for this application. I have designed all the layouts. I have included buttons that describe how the application is to work. I need help in scripting these buttons and handle the image thumbnail. I am unsure if the application will make use of repetitions or portals. I am open to suggestions as to the best method. The attached Filemaker file will make it very easy to understand everything that is required.
