I am looking for some one with good knowledge in Python and Django to help me in my personal journey to becoming a programmer. I have recently taken a course on web programming including html, css, sql, and python. My intention is to dedicate the next year to learn by myself by working on my own projects (I have quite a few ideas, from very simple projects to more complex ones). I come from a Marketing background and hence I don’t have a background in computer science, which is proving to be a real problem. I have bought these two books: Think Python, and Django 2 by example. But I’m really struggling with it. I get stuck on the very first pages of the Django book because there is not enough information on how to use the terminal, and what I’ve found on the web doesn’t seem to be enough to fully grasp what it is I’m doing wrong. I’m based in Gran Canaria, so that is U.K. time zone, and I will prioritise offers from freelancers in time zones 2-4 hour difference. Let me know if this offer interests you, and if so, how do you think we could make it work.

I see that you said you got stuck on the very first page because you did not know enough about the terminal. It can be confusing to get started when there is quite a bit of information. If you need someone to keep you on track we could meet up for 1 hour 3 times a week and go over your objectives, provide clarification and get you past stuck points etc. -Mik
