550627 Large modern website design project

To whom it may concern, I am contacting you to enquire about a possible Website Design project for my company. We are a very small but steadily growing online gambling company who is currently competiting with dozens of much larger companies. The scope of this project will be to completely redesign our entire website offering, including several product pages (Sportsbook, Casino, Poker etc) as well as individual designs for other pages including 'My Account' and the likes of Horse Racing betting pages. The goal in this project is to make our website offering look at least as high quality as our very biggest competitors. We want to give the end user the impression that our company is just as large and professional as these big competitors. We are looking for a 2012 design, modern, clean and very user friendly. At this stage I am contacting several web design companies, some of which I have dealth with before personally, to get quotes on the complete project. As a small company we are cost sensitive and the quote given will have a considerable influence on our final decision - In saying this I envisage that the initial project of completely redesigning the website will only be the beginning of a formal relationship between our companies. As our company grows we are looking for a design company or individual who can continue to support us over the coming years, and who will also give support to our Information Technology suppliers in order to help them integrate the new design. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Some key requirements of the proposed design include: • Entirely HTML based (possibly HTML5) with Javascript used to control dynamic objects. No Flash or embeded objects. • Dynamic page resize depending on 'end user' computer resolution - all content should dynamically resize to fill the entire width of the user's screen - no blank space on the edges of the screen. • Very clean and very modern. • Logo Redesign - take our current (dated) logo and give it a more modern twist. • Different colour scheme for each product offering (Sportsbook, Casino, Poker, Live Casino, Games). • Extensive use of Iconology to guide the end user through the various products. • Effective user of images to bring colour to sub sections of each page. The Initial design quote will include individual designs for these pages: • General page design (header, footer, default content containers) for use with generic content pages such as 'Contact Us' or 'Rules' • Sportsbook Homepage • 'In Play' (including several layouts for different market types) • Casino • Live Casino • Games • Poker • News • My Account pages • Sportsbook Horse Racing page • Sportsbook Football Match Overview page • Sportsbook Football Match individual match page • Sportsbook General Event page In order to make the process of 'imagining' a design easier I would like to give you our biggest competitor's website to take most of your design influence from: Bet365 ([login to view URL]) are currently the largest Sports Betting company in the world. I would very much like to take their current design as the initial template on how we would like our website to look like. In terms of colours my personal preference is not for the dark background, but given that this company is so succesful I am open to using such colours. I would like the designer to have the creative freedom to certainly try and improve, if possible, on Bet365's colour scheme. If the final design brought to us was as professional and neat as Bet365's offering I would be content - basically taking Bet365's current design and restyling it to fit in with our colour scheme and brand would be a happy result. Please take note of how content is laid out on Bet365 on the horse racing and football pages in particular. After you provide us with an initital estimate of the entire project I would like to move forward and pay for one or two single 'proof of concept' screen shots of how you envisage the design working - after reviewing the initial screen shots of the product we will chose a contractor to complete the remainder of the project. The final deliverable design will include html, javascript, spliced images, all PSDs (or other image source fles) as well as copies of any fonts used. At this stage I am envisaging that we will require continuing support for the design after the project has been completed which we will purchase on an 'ad hoc' basis. The quote should include 'email' support for our team who will be integrating with our .net website. I have at hand a recent review of our website by a Online Gambling Design consultancy who have pointed our several areas where our site fails to perform.
