About the project We are a small start-up group building an online rental management application. It's a portal for managers as well as renters to login and manage their rental records and activities. The application is almost fully built and ready to go live within weeks! But we need a final user interface (UI) uplift to make the look-and-feel more appealing and professional. What we are looking for? We are looking for a front end web graphic designer who is expert in html and css to assist us with our UI uplift and logo design. We do not want a full scale redesign of the UI. The web designer should focus on enhancing the UI using css styling, graphics etc while staying within the basic structure of the pages. How to operate? The application is built using dynamic J2EE technologies and hosted on a web server. To make it simple, we will provide you the web server generated source html, javascript and css files. You would need to pass on your thoughts/design ideas to us before modifying the source files. This includes layout decisions, colors, icons, images etc. We'll review them before you modify the sources. Once we identify the designer we will send you more details and screenshots. Estimates The following is an estimate of the work involved: 1) A logo for the site 2) A main image for the login page. 3) 5 html page modifications which include: a)Standard header and footer for all the pages b)Login page redesign. c)We use a frame based structure with menu on the left and login details on the top bar. The menu and the top bar has to be structured to give it a professional look. d)The inner content of the main area is structured as tabbed layout and non tabbed layout throughout the site. We need 1 new redesigned tabbed layout and one 1 new non tabbed layout. e)We have user groups. The model is group within group. We need a good layout to describe this grouping mechanism. Next steps Send us details of your works with some samples. Any work related to portals or login sites will be a big plus. We will evaluate and let you know at the earliest. We need to have the entire work completed within 2 weeks. This is very important as we have scheduled demos coming up. Other details Payment after job completion. Payment will be done through paypal.
