Mathematical helper routines

Hi, I would like to see the following math problems coded in Javascript as helper routines that are of high performance and don't create new objects but for returning results. These will be used for a GPL based CAD program and need to account for geometry that is not well defined. The math should be based on: [login to view URL] as the input parameter. For each geometry type I would like to see the following fast routines: - intersect with a line special case - intersect with all other geometry types (i.e. arc with arc or arc with quad) - closest point on geometry to given input point (clamped and unclamped) - intersect with all other geometries. This is needed for the following geometry types: - line defined by two points (i can offer this as reference) Real work: - elliptical arc as defined: ([login to view URL]). - quadratic curve as defined with 4 control points or ([login to view URL]) Extra credit: - convert 3 point elliptical arc to elliptical arc as defined above. - closets point to P1 that will connect to another point P2 and is creating a perpendicular line to the geometry to P2.
