Build and configure a pair of nameservers

Hello, I would suggest the following architecture for maximum High Availability and Performance including DNS security: 1- Firstly i suggest using Linux based OS for nameservers. Possibly CentOS or Ubuntu with BIND services installed. This suggestion is for security and performance. We can tweak BIND nameserver settings for our custom needs. 2- Then i would suggest installing 2 VM node on SEPARATE ESX server if we have more than one. This is because of High Availability requirements and for easy ESX management (you can set maintenance mode with one host while DNS service is running on another ESX server). 3- I would suggest installing master-master configuration for maximum security and HA. This is because if we go with master-slave approach, master can get be flooded and hacking master records may extend to slave too. Although master-master configuration requires creation of records on two servers it is indeed worth of it. We can continue working if one of the master goes down for whatever reason, be it be a planned work or serious problem. If you want we can also install a control panel for nameservers so that you can create records over web (such as using webmin). This can be opened up to end user or other tech guys so they can add records too. Kindly have a look at my previously completed projects and reviews&ratings to qualify my experiences. I will gladly create the zone files for up to 50 entries if you provide name and resolution for domain(s) you wish to have in the servers.
