Hi, I tried to hire 4 different freelancers already on this job and all overpromissed timeline, just didn't show up after a couple of days or just couldn't get it done/didn't know what they are doing. I need somebody who is able to communicate timeline correct, able to dedicate time to it right now, and write down the steps being done and need to be done. 1. I need OpenVPN set up on a separate server (currently a freelancer set up OWL. It works with XP clients, but not with Win7. This freelancer is not showing up anymore. I am also not sure if OWL is the best choice since I don't really know Linux and prefer GUI). 2. I need to setup a domain/LAN on Novell SUSE Linux. We have 10 users right now. 3. Domain/Lan is currently run on Win2003 server. This server should be in the future just a client, i.e. this server's services need to be switched off. 4. Setup a new server on a new box that will function as a backup server. Please only professionals apply, who are available more than just a couple of hours one night or there. Thanks, Peter

Honestly I feel for you, but again you get what you pay for. I have some solutions I would like to run by you, that would work perfect for this setup. As you can see from my reviews my clients are extremely pleased with the outcome of customer service and professionalism I have provided. I already solve problem with openVPN and Windows7 on my system. Also I can setup Domain and backup server. Also I am Novell and LPI-3 certified.

I run a self made OpenVPN Server on Linux (Fedora) with Windows and Linux clients for my home/office. I see no issues in the OpenVPN or even a choice of Linux distribution with good GUI (which you require) like Fedora. Being a Novell Certified professional, I clearly understand Novell Netware domains. In case you want to implement a Windows kind on a Domain services on a linux server, then also no problem. My commitment here is to complete the work for sure, irrespective of whatever time it demands, or however more sessions you want for training after commencement but before the completion of work. My bid remains the same. The time frame of 20 days is on a higher and safer side. It may get completed sooner, much sooner. To be reasonable, you can pay for any extra hours of hand holding which you may ask for later separately. If you want, we can run a test / trial with my OpenVPN server here, as a confidence building measure, before you assign me the project, which I know I can do it for you. I have noted the problems you have faced so far, I believe you will have a completely satisfied and different experience with me.
