Journalist / Media Relations Specialist

About you: You have opinions and you are not shy to put up alternate views. You have a strong track record of news and media achievements with a tertiary qualification in journalism or media and communications. This role requires impeccable written and verbal communication skills, journalistic contacts and excellent media liaison skills as you will be responsible for articulating an idea across a broad range of media for specific clients and projects. You will have a thorough understanding of traditional and new media platforms. You possess a keen news sense, ability to identify issues and investigative skills. About the role: It’s a mixed bag including writing media releases and pitching to media, content for different newsletters (some industry niche others mainstream), there’s digital, posts and blog articles too.
