For an Android course I want a demonstration app that sends its own APK
Key aspects:-
. this app is simply to demonstrate file transfer. It is NOT a finished app and will not be shipped.
. UI is minimal, just two "Go" buttons and a "Stop"
. The app should be packaged in such a way that it includes its own APK as a static resource. Thus the build script (ant?) is part of the deliverable
. The app should be capable of transferring its APK using all of the following:-
. . . Embedded http server. The server only needs to respond to a GET and will only deliver the APK file. I've already seen the code for this on [login to view URL]
. . . Bluetooth file transfer. So the app needs to turn on bluetooth, scan for a device, pair, transfer and close
. The app must be professionally self-documenting. Remember it's a demonstration app so students will view the source code.
. The app will need to work and be tested on Android versions from Froyo to Jelly Bean
. Part of the deliverable is a test record showing which device pairs you have successfully transferred and installed the APK
I will probably split this project into two deliverables
I have two or three similar mini-apps that I require. Ideally the same freelancer will be able to bid for all of them
