Zen-Cart Shipping Module: Background: - The "product" is a label that can be printed on various types of media - Each product has a primary attribute called "Media Type." This tells us what media to print on (eg: T-Shirt, Sweatshirt, mug, mouse pad, etc) How Shipping Is Calculated: - Shipping is based on the Media Type attribute and quantity (similar to the "$x for first item $y for additional items" flat-rate shipping module for osCommerce) - Each media type has 2 main shipping prices associated with it. - The first is the single item (eg: $5.00 for a t-shirt) - The second is if it is an add-on item in the cart (eg: $2 for each additional t-shirt) - HOWEVER, the "first item" and "Add-on Item" price is location-dependant, so the cost can be different for shipping within the US, Canada, and any other international address.
