Parse HTML and insert into Spreadsheet

I have a small piece of code that needs written. I have approximately 9000 (there are apprx 14000 in folder but 9k needed) html files (I can mass convert to csv files if preferred) that I need to have the html parsed and imported into Open Office Spreadsheet(version [login to view URL]). Spreadsheet #1 has to be created. I’m still determining if Spreadsheet #2 will need to be or not. I need each source html(or csv) file to be imported into its own row within the spreadsheet. So row 1 would be header names. Row 2 would be the data from the first csv. Row 3 would be the data from the second csv and so on. The HTML source code and its contents must be what shows up in the spreadsheet. There are many consistent pieces of html code that can be used to make the parsing easy such as H3 tags and their associated headings among other code. ## Deliverables I have a small piece of code that needs written. Stock Number, Product Image Name(jpeg only not path), Product Name, Product Description, Product Wholesale Price, Product Shipping Weight, Product Weight Scale, Product Manufacturer, Category Name ? Variables ??" I will upload example files showing the different variations I am aware of. Most products will have three links on the product page ??" Product Info, Nutritional Info, Packaging Info(Not Used even though files will be there) ? Product Description HTML makeup (all data for Product Description must fit into one cell similar to [login to view URL]) ??" will consist of information from the product’s Nutritional Info page merged with some data from Product Info page and inserted preferably in the following order of H3 tag headings and their content >> Details, Directions, Warnings, Nutrition Facts Table The Details information is usually on both pages but I must come from the Nutritional Info page as it is formatted cleaner. I Don’t want any of the information from either page that starts with “Please Note??. ? Product Weight vs. Shipping Weight ??" Both are on the Product Info page. Product Weight is under the H3 tagged “Description??. Shipping Weight is in a div id of “packaging_block??. ? Everything else is self explanatory. If you think it isn’t let me know as I want 100% communication on this project. On the HTML docs in the area that says ‘Availability’, I DON’T want any of the products marked ‘Product not yet in stock’ or ‘Discontinued’. My end use will be the exact format of [login to view URL] which is why I need it in Open Office 3.xx. Excel has limitations to my understanding which is why that won’t work to my knowledge. ? ? ? Spreadsheet 2 ??" Stock Code, Flavors(if shown per product), Size Options ? ? ? Examples files - For the example source html files just rename the extensions to csv if that’s the format you prefer. There are about 1.7GB of source html files that need the data extracted. I can either email you a handful of those files so you can test samples there and I can run your program here on the whole file set when you complete the coding or I can find a way to get you all the source documents through either some kind of ftp or snail mail(if you’re in the U.S.).
