Doorway / Entrance Page

When we started on the internet in 1998 it was common practice to create domains based on popular search terms rather than the name of the business. And so we created [[login to view URL]][1] (a custom window treatment) for it's keyword strength. Well, we've always been known as Accent Blinds & Shades but it didn't dawn on us until 2004 to buy a domain that fits the name - and so we bought [[login to view URL]][2]. Since 2004 we've used it to help us redesign our primary site but most of the time it just sits there. I'd like to create a "doorway" page of sorts leading to the main site. Nothing sleazy, no tricks like hidden text or anything like that. Just a simple page, properly optimized (html + .css) - no flash - nothing too fancy with all kinds of bells and whistles. In my minds eye I see a main picture that is no larger than 600 px wide - consisting of smaller pictures of our window treatments with our logo in the corner of the picture - below that picture will be h1 headings and below that perhaps small pictures (rounded corners) that represent the product categories. By categories I mean Cellular Shades Bamboo Shades Vertical Blinds Skylight Blinds Solar Shades Roller Shades Vertical Blind Alternatives Faux Wood Blinds Plantation Shutters and ... Wood Blinds Beyond that I don't have a vision and yours doesn't have to fit mine. The only thing this page can't do is use the template from the main site. It can't resemble that template in any way. Just a simple entry page with links to the main site as described above with some indication to the customer that they are on a window treatment website. PS you can however grab any picture from the main site [[login to view URL]][1] ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
