Beverage Diary/Log

This is a very simple project for a programmer who knows what they are doing. It is a web based diary/log of wines that the customer has tried and would like to track. There will be two parts to the project; a diary filled in by the customer and a separate database populated by the company with recommended wines. The customer will have the ability to enter various information on a wine into their personal diary and then search and sort by a variety of criteria. The customer will also be able to move wines from the recommend wines database to their personal diary. ## Deliverables This web based application will allow the customer to enter and track various wines that they drink. The data will consist of an assortment of customer entered text and predefined drop down boxes. The data will be entered in three separate screens depending upon the information. (Please refer to the attached document for diagrams) Once the data is entered, the customer will be able to search on predefined criteria that will yield a list of results that will be sortable by several fields. The customer will then select the wines he would like to view and a more refined list will be generated. Once the final list is generated the customer will be able to navigate to the specific wine in the journal. The second part of the project involves integrating a separate database of wines with the personal diary. Each month the customer will be presented with a list of recommended wines for that month. Each wine will have some predetermined data as well as a description and recommendation. The predetermined data will be the same as the initial data fields in the personal diary. There will need to be a method to enter this data into a database that corresponds to the wine. The customer will be able to search this dbase from two places; the main page of the personal diary and the archive page of the recommend list. Once the customer selects a wine or wine, I would like them to have the ability to move it to there personal wine diary by using the corresponding fields. (Please see diagrams) Application will need to be installed and test with a help menu or on-line manual in place. Source code and all documentation on delivery. Questions and clarifications will gladly be answered and will are willing to listen recommendations based on experience. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
