Create 4 variations of the site logo / name per customer's specifications (1 for spring, 1 for summer, 1 for fall, 1 for winter). Create an email opt-in graphic. Create 4 250x250 ad graphics, matching in style. Layout changes - Change footer layout and color - Change sidebar layout and color including some 125X125 ads. Customize all main menu and sub-menu titles / name. Make sure all subpages have the same matching colors and matching title colors as the index page, for a seamless customized look. Add a 250x250 ad box to each post. Each post will have a different ad. The same ad does not go on all posts. Create sitemap (the template has a widget for this already :), so basically, just set up and change text). Load Wordpress and the new template to the customer's hosting account, complete with all dummy images and dummy text on the template. The template needs to be working like a live demo template when you are done. SEO optimize the template by removing all unnecessary info, links, etc... that the template author had left on the template, fill in titles, meta tags, keywords, etc... for SEO purposes.
