3 new features in 3d java applet

This bid is to develop features for a Java tool that's being developed for TikiWiki, an Open Source application. I'm also a developer but have little experience with Java and 3D, so I hired another coder to write this first version we have. The tool is for navigating the wiki in a visual way, the goal is to be a wikibrowser, like the one available at [login to view URL], but as fancy as Visual Thesaurus ([login to view URL], online edition). You can see it working at [login to view URL] All java code is available there and also in TikiWiki's CVS on sourceforge. Currently you can pass a page as a parameter and a 3d representation of the page with its neighbours will be shown and can be rotated. Nodes can be moved and will return to the same place. It reads the graph structure from an XML. The 3d visualization and rotation is good, now I need 3 features added: 1- Node positioning is random now. The graph should be balanced. I have an idea to do this described in attach. 2- The current graph structure is not exactly a graph, it shows only one level of links, it should be a proper graph structure preferrably with Open Source libraries. 3- The XML that feeds the applet is a very simple structure, now I want it to be XML RPC. I've include some more details on this in attach. The first one is more important. If the graph is not balanced this project will get nowhere, so I may take a bid to do just the first one. If you win bid you'll be part of TikiWiki developers community, that's cool :-). Your code will be released under LGPL with credits to you and lots of people will appreciate your work. This is a keep going development, so I may hire you to develop other features in future. My goal is to make a cool software, so I'm open to any ideas you have. ## Deliverables 1) A working applet compiled and with code in TikiWiki's CVS on SourceForge (if you don't know CVS it's simple and I can help you). 2) Your work will be released under LGPL license, so you may not use any library or code that violate this.
