We have 2 interconnected Asterisk 1.4 servers running on Debian 3.1 and Fedora core 7. The system performs telephony, fax<->email and provisioning functions and includes several web interfaces and openvpn/racoon servers. The MySQL database and provisioning files are replicated between servers.
We need to migrate it to a new OS and software keeping the functionality intact. Asterisk, HylaFAX and IAXmodem software should be installed from source, the rest should be installed from OS packages.
You'll be given access to the production servers as well as to the 2 new servers with a minimal OS setup.
We will provide access to review the actual system before bidding upon request.
## Deliverables
We use custom patches with the following modules:
- cbmysql, patch allows to exit immediately to execute further dialplan commands if the room number or pin are incorrect or not found
- app_voicemail, An option 'd' to use "default" context for writing message (used for better multilingual voicemail support)
Asterisk configuration:
- sip/iax peers are in realtime MySQL database
- the dialplan is in realtime too, we need to move it to files on a new platform
- the dialplan extensively uses MySQL database via cmd MYSQL.
Other services include:
- ftp, tftp and http servers for device provisioning needs. We'd like to replace proftpd with vsftpd.
- "Voicemail eXtreme" web GUI patched to support Voicemail ODBC backend
- custom coded GUI to manage user devices, DDI numbers, and dialplan variables, initiate web calls and send sms
- phpmyadmin GUI
- cbmysql GUI
- CDR Analyzer GUI
- custom coded administration GUI that allows to manage users, devices, DDI numbers and dialplan variables
- qmail+hylafax+iaxmodem as email<->fax gateway. We would need to replace the qmail with postfix
- custom scripts that perform regular cleanup of dialplan variables
- Nagios nsca client scripts
