I have two websites hosted on one server, both running on Typo3 and I need to migrate them to a server with a new hosting provider I recently changed to. I am unaware of what the process entails myself and unfortunately I am no longer able to consult with the team that originally developed the site so I am not to sure what information you will need. I am pretty confident I would be able to provide you with any login/passwords you may have need of though.
Currently I am now paying server/hosting charges to both my new and old providers so I would like to have the migration done fairly quickly so I can reduce our costs and stop paying double what I need to.
Also, if anyone considering the project could do me the courtesy of listing the information they think they will need (excluding login info of course), I would be happy to begin the process of tracking that down and then posting it here.
For now all I know that I think someone might need to be aware of is that Typo3 is a CMS based on php and mysql ([login to view URL] & .org)and I believe both the old and the new servers are running Linux. Also, neither site is ecommerce-based. One is a blog and the other is an information portal.
(Final Note: If the winning bidder is very comfortable with the project and familiar with the CMS and some of the site's additional components (such as the newsletter system), I may be looking for someone to do some additional work on the site in the way of bug fixes, etc.)
