Full Web Site Like Amazon, but for Auto Parts

We need a full site developed like [login to view URL] but for auto accessories. We want companies to be able to sign up an account and post items for sale, as well as sell items on an auction format. Check out must be done through our [login to view URL] merchant service and paypal. A lot of back end programming for off the site work will also needed to be done, to integrate shipping and invoicing. Also a desktop program to help the customers manage their auctions and listing on the site. This is a big project and we are willing to break up the project into smaller projects and pay for each part as we go. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform We do not know alot about platforms, that is why we are here looking for you....but we were told that this is what we needed..... J2EE programmer, who is familiar with some of the following: J2SE 5, JSP, JSF, Spring, XML, Web Services, Oracle, and MySQL. And they said "your best best is to use Java based and Oracle technologies. There are programming platforms like [login to view URL] that can give a huge leg up, since most of the code is written already. Not sure if this is exactly what we need, but any help would be great!
