Need Visually Impaired Screen Reader Users to Test Web Site

VISUALLY IMPAIRED WAI-ARIA / SECTION 508 COMPLIANCE TESTING We have a small web site with a Javascript User Interface which dynamically updates sections of the screen without refreshing the entire screen (AJAX), allows different sections to open and close, tabs to be selected, etc. We would like input from an actual user of one or more major screen readers, in the form of a report on each section of our site about what is and is not reasonably accessible when using a screen reader, with suggestions for how the pages could be better structured or tagged to promote accessibility. JAWS would be the preferred software, but other programs may be considered. The site, counting menu tabs and other pieces of dynamic functionality as their own "pages," consists of about 7 pages. We anticipate this being an iterative process.? That is, we identify problems, fix them, and have the reviewer look at the site again, perhaps several times. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) The report should contain the following sections: a) Overall Navigation. b) Major Section assessment (e.g., Search Form, Search Results list, Document Detail page, etc.) c) Detailed comments on Javascript controls accessibility (e.g., search results have tabs to see different views of the results, search result rows have a "+" next to them to see an expanded view of a result without going to the detail page). d) Ranking of problems, with suggestions as to which issues should be addressed first to make the most progress the fastest. ## Platform JAWS preferred. Other Assistive-Technology programs may be considered. Please describe what you plan to use, your experience with your chosen software, whether you are visually impaired, and whether you have 508 compliance testing experience (not necessary at all, just curious).
