Hi, I have a very simple database from which I'd like to extract some data. In total 2 views and 9 queries need to be constructed. The queries will be executed from Excel/VBA. (A small amount of VBA required to trigger the queries.) Please find attached: - a script for a SQL DB - a Word file outlining the queries and views - an Excel file with a form and some comments in VBA, explaining the desired functionality (please be sure to read the code comments behind the sheet and form and don't hesitate to ask for clarification) An Excel workbook with data is available for testing to qualified bidders. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regards, J ## Deliverables Regarding step 1: The Excel file contains a form with dropdown menus. The idea is that when the form loads, the first dropdown is populated with the recordset returned by the Provider query; when a selection is made (on change) in the first dropdown, the second recordset is returned by the Models query, which is then used to second dropdown. Similarly, when a selection is made in the second dropdown, the third query, Companies, is fired. The returned (2-column) recordset (with company name and TRID) is used to populate the third dropdown (with only the company name showing in the dropdown). When a selection is made in this last dropdown and the user presses OK, the TRID for the selected company is written to sheet and used as the basis for the remaining queries. NOTE: The column headers in the Daily and Monthly sheets are TRIDs. The purpose of the views is to return a collection of columns with matching TRIDs from the various tables, rather than having to query each table individually. As specified, the view will also needs a date range constraint, i.e. 12 months before XYZ or 90 days before XYZ or 8 years before XYZ. I've put the start and end dates for both daily and monthly table queries in the sheet.
