MVC 4 App and MVC WEB API App: jQuery Ajax and jQuery Datatable

Please see the requirements document. Use jQuery only. Project deliverables : MVC 4 Application, MVC WEB API Application Requirements: There should be two applications. One is MVC 4 Intranet, another is MVC4 WEB API. Provide design and data for small SQL Server table. It may be not less than 4 columns, any name, any data. Sample is presented with data, you may use it. It is attached to the project . There are two files: one is to create table, another is to insert data into a table. Please see the attachments to the project. WEB API App • WEB API application should connect to SQL server and get data from simple 4-5 columns table. • It should output JSON on Get request. • Please no embedded data source or anything of that kind, only connection string in Web Config • You can use either [login to view URL], or EF or LINQ To Data. Nothing else. No preference between those three. MVC APP • MVC4 Application should call WEB API App and get data for the jQuery datatable. • No MVC Ajax Helpers, pure Jquery Ajax. • One page (or view) should have datatable , and datatable should load data via ajax call on the load of the page,(or view in this case). Page should have link with the second page (as <a href…>) • Second page should do the same on button click. Please place button and datatable. On button click datatable should call WEB API and get data. Basically , I would create table in one of SQL Server databases – change connection string, and run Web API app. While it is running, I would run MVC App and check how datatable gets data on the first page as soon as it is loaded, and on the second page – on button click.
