Simple Combination, Reorganizing, And Updating Of Existing HTML Catalog Pages With Verification

Approximately 450 products listed on ten existing HTML catalog pages will be reorganized into eight new HTML pages. At the minimum, the "add to cart" links for each product will change, and in many cases the price will also change from that listed on existing pages. ## Deliverables **Specific Tasks:** You will accomplish the following tasks: 1. Reorganize existing HTML pages 2. Update prices and "add to cart" links 3. Correct existing HTML (or CSS) code, if required 4. Send me ONE sample page to ensure you understand the requirements of this project 5. After I approve the FIRST page, created remaining pages 6. Test/verify all image links, SKUs (product numbers), prices, and buy links I will supply an Excel spreadsheet listing the SKU (product number) and display order for all products to be included on that page, and the correct price and "add to cart" link for each item. **Page Layout** 1. After the project is awarded to you, I will send you the Wordpress theme files I am using. Any CSS you wish to add/alter to this theme MUST be approved by me and provided by you as separate code fragments with clear instructions on exactly where to place the new (or revised) CSS code in my theme file(s). You may provide example full theme files along with the above, but I must control the actual code that is loaded to my site. 2. All pages will be laid out to generally conform with the sample JPG provided below. Note the example JPG illustrates the price and "add to cart (add to goodies bag)" button INCORRECTLY; the price and add to cart button should be on the SAME LINE. 3. All pages will have individual product images displayed alternatively to the right and to the left, with the first product image on each new HTML page displayed on the left. 4. In general, the layout for each catalog product will include: * a. The product image will appear at the top right (or left) for each individual listing * b. Each description will begin with a bold, underlined heading * c. The description will be left justified and will wrap around the image if necessary * d. The price will appear under the description aligned on the LEFT margin * e. The "Add To Goodies Bag" (add to cart) image will appear on the same line as the price but aligned to the RIGHT margin * f. Again, refer to the JPG sample provided here 5. Each product image/description/price will be separated from the next by a line as per the example JPG. 6. The preexisting HTML pages supplied each include a "sales letter" at the beginning. The pages you create as part of this project WILL NOT include similar text; the only text on the new pages will be the product descriptions. In other words, the pages you create will display ONLY the catalog items, to include image, description, price and "add to cart" button. **Coding** 1. The eight new pages you will create will have the following file names, which correspond to the worksheet tab names in the provided Excel spreadsheet: * a. [login to view URL] * b. Within each new page, the products will be listed in the exact order shown in the Excel spreadsheet I will provide after awarding you the project. 3. You will change all product "add to cart" code from that on the preexisting HTML pages because they were coded for a specific shopping cart system and I am now using a different shopping cart system. The specific "add to cart" code for each product is included on the Excel spreadsheet I will provide to you. 4. Do not use additional CSS unless I approve it in advance. This restriction is due to the Wordpress theme in which these pages will be displayed. (Also see the instructions in "Page Layout" item #1 above). 5. All new HTML pages will be coded to W3C standard, which will include fixing errors in the preexisting code provided to you. **Test/Verify** 1. 1. Verify all image links display correct image with each product description 2. 2. Verify all image shadowbox links display correct image 3. 3. Verify all "add to cart" links add proper ITEM AND PRICE to shopping cart 4. 4. Verify price displayed on catalog page matches price shown in shopping cart 5. 5. All pages will be checked and verified at [login to view URL], unless you get my prior approval to use a different site.
