I have some experience in microcontroller programming with Arduino with C/C++ and am very interested in developing content for the actual esp32 board. My plan is to use an emulator from one of the readily existing emulators such as evm-esp32,Wokwi or the python esp32-machine-emulator and a firmware loading software such as uPyCraftIDE to initially load a version of MicroPython for basic GPIO pin tests on the microcontroller but then later maybe extending it to loading custom written c/c++ firmware.
