Hi I am mechanical engineer and designer. I could help for your project. I use Solidworks for modeling and FEA simulation but I also have access to Inventor software from autodesk its FEA software included. The most important thing to have good results is to have the right information about the materials and charges.

I'm using Solidwork 2013 for my FEA analysis and can do linear and non leaner static or dynamic analysis of your model. The model will be developed on Solidworks and the modeling in the FEM software provided by Solidworks.

AoA I can do this work for you quiet easily as i have done my masters thesis related to "interlaminar shear failure in woven composites using ASTM standards".i performed the FEA and experimental analysis and quiet hope ful that can do this work for you. I did my work in Ansys but can do this work in Nastran and Abaqus also. I can also guide you in relating the ansys results to matlab by coupling the two softwares. Can you please tell the standards according to which you are going to perform the testing I can develop APDL codes for different standards which may be generic for parametric studies.. We can have discussions related to these so that i may guide you in better way (I can also convert FE files from one software to other) Regards

hello, I'm probably the only one engineer who works with glass & carbon composite technology here. You should also specify: - the number of Nomex (cell size or number of the sheet), - type of technology (pre-preg, diffusion, rtm, LRTM etc.), - performance glass fiber (type of weave or lack of it) - and kind of resin (epoxy, phenolic, etc.) all as necessary. if it is to consider the academic, the calculation will be very roughly. -regards
