It has contacts rooster, online offline notification and message notification. Pretty much i have what you need I just need to modify it to fit to your site. In the past I've programmed many web applications including chat boxes, forums etc. So I have a rather good idea of how to go about creating a user based messaging system. I will create a fast, intuitive, automatically updating message system using Javascript J-Query and use php to store user info in the SQL database. C++ will probably not be required, neither will HTML 5 unless you require more interactive elements for the chat box.
