DC to DC converter design for E bike proposal: The power requirements of the E bike will determine the power rating of your DC to DC converter (preferably a buck boost converter). The size of panels will also be determined by the irradiance and load requirements. Some constraints to system design are - - foot print of the solar panels and structural systems. - engineering design to prevent theft. From the report alluminium is also prone to theft (use to make pots)., I have few ideas to counter act this. - battery bank days or hours of autonomy. It is essential that energy is readily available for customers e bikes, this will be based on number of client trends etc. -The weather conditions in the location that will have impact on the solar panels and the battery bank. The microcontroller will be coded using Mplab in C language. It will be used for the battery management. It further utilize the pwm in the chip to provide the switching signal in the DC to DC converter. The electrical system will be designed using multism to demonstrate operation. Hi..I have designed power distribution circuits for high end FPGA cards with lot of interfaces which could require upto 250W of power. Besides, i have sound knowledge regarding thermal distribution on PCB around DC-DC modules. I also possess knowledge of single node analysis to meet the target impedance at switching frequency of DC converters. This analysis allows to know the optimum amount of capacitors required to meet the specs. I have worked with different topologies for power supply modules like buck and flyback converters. I have also worked with isolated DC-DC converters for designs that require to meet stringent EMI-EMC qualifications.
