you will have three stage in this project 1,circuit designing 2,PCB 3,Coding the circuit and PCB will be designed in KiCad and i believe you don't need a duplicate of that one on image. So let me suggest a controller having RTC may i suggest STM32f103c8(it can code in Arduino Ide) ...

I have been designing PCB's and the entire product development form the last 3 years and have designed quite compact and reliable boards. I have also designed PCB's for defense applications which were for cockpit monitoring system. I have designed more than 20 PCBs till now which include LED drivers, DSP boards, High Power, High frequency and Microcontroller Boards.I work on Orcad, Eagle and Kicad.
